The Triennial International Nuffield ConferenceThe objectives of the several Nuffield Farming Trusts and Associations coming together in the International Scheme are broadly:

The Annual Contemporary Scholars Conference (CSC)In February/March of each year, the Nuffield participating countries (United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Canada, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and Australia) recently selected Scholars will come together for one week in a mutually agreed country. The CSC has been established by Nuffield International to “Consider agriculture and trade in a global context, farming in 2015 and 2050, understand consumer issues, world trade/agri-politics and discuss leadership issues.” The CSC also welcomes delegates from programmes with similar objectives in non Nuffield countries with the objective to create a truly international forum for the next generation of leaders in agriculture. The program will include presentations and group discussions on global issues of concern to farmers, leadership issues and will include visits to Farms, Co-operatives, Research and Food processing / marketing. |
