Stefan Teepker likes new challenges and the opportunity to constantly develop himself and his team. At the age of 14, he joined his parents' business and has continuously developed it together with his brother. Today, they farm chicken, pig, arable farming, renewable energies and employ around 30 people. Stefan is also Managing Director of a machine rental company with over 200 customers. From 2015-2017, Stefan was Chairman of the young DLG, which has 8,000 members who are all young farmers between 20-36 years old. He is also on the Board of German Chicken Farmers.

Roland van Asten is a 2017 Dutch Nuffield Scholar. He is focused on pig production in the business but also runs biogas, arable land, solar power, sheep and beef in the Netherlands and Germany. Together with Stefan Teepker, Andreas Liebl, and Henriette Keuffel they started Nuffield Farming Scholars Germany and it is their goal to have the first German nominated Farming Scholar in 2023.
